Hershey-Derry Township Historical Society Preservation Awards recognize homes and buildings in Hershey since 1991 for their historic importance.

Do you know of a local building or site that holds significant historical, architectural, or cultural value for our community? Now is your chance to help celebrate these irreplaceable landmarks!
Residents and property owners in Derry Township are invited to nominate buildings that reflect or enhance the historic character of a property for our Historic Preservation Award. Eligible buildings include residential, commercial, public, and religious structures.
Download and print the Preservation Award nomination form, and mail to the museum. Attn: Vicki Caloiero, Hershey History Center, 40 Northeast Drive, Hershey, PA 17033.
The nominations will be judged by the Preservation Committee of the Hershey – Derry Township Historical Society. Once a year, the owners of winning properties are recognized and receive an exterior plaque of recognition from the Hershey History Center. Nomination is year-round.
