Doodlebugs and Hershey

Section Title

Presented by Robert Ziemba
Tuesday, October 7 | 6-7pm

If you are a Racing fan, mark your calendar for October 7 and plan to attend a presentation at the Hershey History Center on the little known history of Racing at Hershey Stadium Speedway.

Rob Ziemba, a local Racing enthusiast with a NASCAR background, has been studying the Speedway.  The Hershey Speedway operated inside the Hershey Park Stadium from 1939 to 1942, in 1967 and 1969, and in 1982 and 1983.

Rob will lead the discussion, speaking on the history of the Speedway, and sharing some fun clips and little known facts throughout his presentation.

Fans may bring any Hershey stadium Speedway memorabilia  from their families to share their recollections of seasons past and to reunite for one evening with Racing commonality.

Speedway related apparel is on sale in the HHC Museum's 1729 Shop.

Hershey Speedway coordinates with the Antique Auto fall meet.
