1893 - MS Hershey attends the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago and buys German chocolate-making machinery.
1913 - Hershey Water Company receives charter.
1963 - Hershey Chocolate Corporation announces plans for construction of Oakdale, California plant.


1966 - First Hershey Community Day celebration with Dogwood Ball sponsored by the Federated Women's Club.
1988 - Hershey beats Fredericton 4-2 in game four to win the Calder Cup.
2005 - In conjunction with the introduction of author Gary Pomerantz's new book, Wilt 1962: The Night of 100 Points and the Dawn of a New Era, the Pa. Historic and Museum Commission place a new historic marker at the entrance to Hersheypark Arena, commemorating the event.
