Learn the real story behind one of the greatest pieces of prose ever written at a special Hershey-Derry Township Historical Society presentation, “Addressing Gettysburg,” on February 16, 2012.

Civil War expert and educator Bob Shaffer will talk about President Lincoln’s famous visit to Gettysburg, why Lincoln felt he failed the people with his speech and why the press ridiculed the President’s visit.
